- Made a presentation to the University of Wisconsin 2009 Canadian health Promotion/Public Health Study Tour on March 18, 2009 at University of Ottawa. (See 8)
- Made a presentation to all Community Police Officers on the citywide replication of the NCLB under the CDF (February the 5th at Willington Street Community Police Centre).
- Made a presentation at Carleton University UniCentre at the CDF and how Universities can benefit from community research opportunities.
- Presentation to Social work students at Algonquin College on February 3 and 4, 2009 about the citywide implementation of NCLB approach under the City of Ottawa's Community Development Framework (CDF).
- Spoke at University of Ottawa on the event of Child Friendly City Day in Ottawa at the Inter-Generation Conversation on November 21, 2008.
- Participated in Panel discussion at A Place for Everyone: Setting a Community Agenda conference organized by OCISO on November 20, 2008.
- Shared the success story of NCLB at various national and international forums, including:
- Made a presentation on the crime prevention model (No Community Left Behind) to the executive meeting of Ottawa Police Service (Chief, deputy chiefs and superintendents) on October 2, 2006
- Attended Law Enforcement Aboriginal and Diversity Conference in Toronto from April 30-May 3, 2006 for law enforcement personnel, community leaders and equality seeking groups. The conference was hosted by Gwen Boniface, Commissioner, Ontario, Provincial Police (OPP); Giuliano Zaccardelli, Commissioner, Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP); and Brian Rupert, Chief First Nations Chiefs of Police Association (FNCPA).
- Conducted a workshop on Crime Prevention through Social Development on June 14, 2006 at United Way’s organized annual Sharing our Strengths conference in Ottawa,
- Made a presentation to the Roundtables on Crime Prevention through social development on February 22, 2006, organized by Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police. The presentation was given on the No Community Left Behind, a crime prevention initiative.
- Attended Training in Conflict Resolution by Diane King, organized by Acerra, a division of Algonquin College, Ottawa, on October 01, 2004.
- Attended a United Way organized workshop on Non-Violent Crisis intervention at Citi Collegiate, Ottawa, on June 7, 2005.
